Full Moon in Aquarius – August 1st, 2023

On Tuesday, August 1st, we will be welcoming a full moon in one of the more mysterious signs of the zodiac- Aquarius! Despite it’s name, this is an air sign, meaning you may feel a twinge of air element energy these next couple weeks. Air represents logic, thought, and communication- but also flakiness, overthinking, and judgement. Aquarius rules individuality- they are often considered the rebel of the zodiac. They are highly intelligent and aware of their social standing, role, and expectations- and they will do everything in their power to shake those norms up!

Contrasting the sun in Leo currently, we see two sides of the same coin- Leo and Aquarius are the signs that want to be *seen*- and they are often hard to miss! However, Leo wants to be seen at the top of the ladder- while Aquarius wants to be seen breaking the ladder!

This full moon is going to bring up a few questions for you- do you act in ways you want to be recognized for? Is there tension in your current environment, preventing you from living your truth? Do you feel a pull in a direction that might challenge what others think? Think of that quote- “Whatever you are, be a good one.” This is a great time to look at how your personal beliefs, image, ideas, and opinions line up with those aorund you.

On the flipside, if you are in a challenging space, it will become extra apparent around this moon phase. You may feel a bit more pressure- like it’s harder to keep up this image that you never really wanted in the first place. This moon will highlight the difference between fitting in and standing out! You may find yourself experimenting with your image as well- does your presentation represent who you are inside? What kind of person do ou want people to see when they look at you? The power duo of Leo and Aquarius encourage you to try something new!
